The Law Offices of Kelly D. Shapiro provides legal representation and business counseling to clients in the entertainment, tech, and startup industries. Attorney Shapiro represents world famous DJs, musicians, singer-songwriters, producers, stand-up comics, visual artists, celebrity chefs, television and film producers, reality TV stars, podcasters, production companies, fashion brands, estates of deceased artists, publicists, non-profits, investors, and entrepreneurs. Attorney Shapiro provides practical legal and business advice to small and midsize businesses, entrepreneurs, and startups throughout their lifecycle.

Outside of practicing law, Attorney Shapiro is very active in multiple community service programs, serving as a mentor for ImagineLA, a program that matches volunteer mentorship teams to families transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing. Attorney Shapiro is a frequent volunteer attorney at First AME Church’s free legal clinic in Los Angeles, CA, and at the Freelancers Union/Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts NYC pop-up legal clinics in Brooklyn, NY.

Attorney Shapiro serves as Vice President of the Harvard Black Alumni Society, is a member of the Harvard Law School Associations of Los Angeles and New York, and is a founding member of Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs - Los Angeles. 

Attorney Shapiro received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and B.A. from the University of Southern California. 

Attorney Shapiro is licensed to practice law in California, New York, and Pennsylvania.
